Emily is a licensed clinical psychologist at Learning Solutions. Her therapeutic training is in brief solution-focused therapy. Emily worked in various college counseling centers and acute partial programs where she worked with young adults, adolescents, and children with varying presenting concerns.
Emily’s interest in psychological assessment was always paramount in her training. She specialized in the assessment of children, adolescents, and college-aged adults. She has experience assessing ADHD, learning disorders, trauma, anxiety, and depression. When it comes to diagnosis, Emily views each case through a multicultural and contextual lens. She views how the scores correspond with the individual’s history and current stressors. She works to make her reports informative and useful for each person.
Emily earned her B.A. in psychology with a minor in social work at Marist College. She then earned her master’s and doctorate in clinical psychology from Immaculata University, an APA accredited university. She completed her internship and fellowship at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in the counseling center focusing on assessment, brief therapy, and crisis counseling.
