Melissa Griswold is the editor and content specialist at Learning Solutions, where she brings together her experience in education and her love of writing and editing.
Before joining Learning Solutions, Melissa spent nearly 20 years at Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech as a teacher of the deaf, mainstream consultant, and information outreach specialist. She worked closely with students, schools, and families and developed resources to support children with hearing loss. Her work included newsletters, books, self-advocacy materials for children and families, and guides for educators. She also worked as a freelance writer and editor before bringing her skills to Learning Solutions.
Melissa earned a B.A. in Psychology from Middlebury College and a Master in Education of the Deaf from Smith College.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and volunteering with her dog, Murray, a certified Bright Spot Therapy Dog.
