Marjory Ackerman is a licensed occupational therapist at Learning Solutions, where she provides assessment and treatment in sensory processing, fine motor and visual motor skills, visual perception, and handwriting.
Marjory’s approach focuses on helping students develop the skills they need to participate more fully in school and everyday life. She values collaboration with families, teachers, and other professionals to create supportive environments where children can build confidence and reach their potential.
Her clinical background includes rehabilitation and hand therapy. Since 2005, her primary focus has been school-based occupational therapy.
Marjory earned a B.A. from the University of Rochester and a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University. She later returned to NYU to earn a second master’s degree in Public Administration in Health Care.
