Learning Solutions is an interdisciplinary practice that offers an integrative and collaborative approach to the assessment and treatment of learning, language, and psychological needs across the lifespan.

We place a primary value on the strengths and resources of the individuals, family members, and community members that support the individual. First and foremost we maintain a deep curiosity in the knowledge and experience of the individual and those working to support the individual. As a team of professionals from different disciplines, we value our perspectives and traditions of knowledge that collectively can lead to a greater depth of understanding.

Learning Solutions is committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion and increasing access to high-quality comprehensive assessments and services. While many other private assessment practices are almost entirely out-of-pocket, we continue to accept insurance, including MassHealth, so that we can serve our community.

We value diversity and are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all clients, members of our staff, trainees, subcontractors and vendors. We acknowledge our areas of privilege and how they impact our work with clients who have historically oppressed identities. We recognize the power dynamic that is apparent by virtue of the clinician/client relationship. While we do not put this responsibility on our clients, we do welcome and encourage your feedback. Please let us know if you have ever felt discriminated against by any member our staff or have experienced microaggressions in our office. We will take steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

We are dedicated to working toward social equity and against injustice, including racism, xenophobia, sexism, transphobia, gender discrimination, classism, and homophobia. As clinicians and staff, we value a self-reflective practice and supporting one another in pushing past the blind spots, biases and prejudices that are inherent to our privileged identities. We utilize a socio-cultural lens when conceptualizing and understanding our client’s present situations and presenting challenges; and recognize that not all identities are visible. We are trauma-informed and careful not to assume or stereotype.
